The Job seeker Connector Program operate as an integrated community engagement and labour market intelligence model. Together, they support skilled immigrants and recent graduates in understanding Manitoba’s labour market while helping Local Immigration Partnerships (LIPs) and partners engage employers using evidence-informed insights.

Through structured networking, exploratory and sector-specific focus groups participants gain clarity on how their skills, education, and experience align with Manitoba industries. Participants also expand their professional networks and are introduced to relevant employment, settlement, and skills-development programs.

While the program does not guarantee employment, it creates meaningful connections, improves labour market awareness, and supports informed career decision-making. Employers benefit by engaging with qualified talent in a low-risk, non-transactional way, gaining insight into newcomer skill.
